5 areas of your life you can impact with VIVE. Train your brain, nurture your body, level up performance, transform your everyday and create your flow.

At VIVE, we work to help you boss your life across 5 areas. We have seen first hand the impact that visualisation has had across many aspects of our lives – now, we’re bringing it to all of you!

Train your Brain

Training your brain is all about developing mental fitness and emotional regulation. Our brains are not fixed, rigid structures; they are malleable. This is known as neuroplasticity and, through visualisation, you can proactively change the neural pathways within your brain.

By changing the chemistry within your mind, you can change your default thought patterns to develop new behaviours and mental fitness.

Nurture your Body

Nurturing your body means appreciating what is does and working towards your health and fitness goal. Contrary to popular belief, visualisation has the power to change the biology and chemistry in your body on cellular level.

Oakley Ray, Professor Emeritus of Psychology, Psychiatry and Pharmacology at Vanderbilt University, puts it like this: “According to the mind-body or biopsychosocial paradigm, which supersedes the older biomedical model, there is no real division between the mind and body because of networks of communication that exists between the brain and neurological, endocrine and immune systems.”

Simply put, it means that your brain and body are connected so it’s time they started working together.

Level up Performance

Level up your performance. Whether it’s athletic, academic or anything else visualisation can take you to the next level. For decades professional athletes have used visualisation to gain the advantage in their performance.

In 1995, a study in the Journal of Neurophysiology demonstrated how visualisation can cause the same changes in the brain as physical practice. Three groups of participants were given a simple piano sequence to practice. Group 1 practiced physically for two hours per day for five days. Group 2 practiced for the same duration but used visualisation, never physically touching the piano. Group 3 were the control group, they didn’t practice at all.

After the five days, groups 1 and 2 experienced the changes the areas of the brain associated with controlling the piano playing hand. Group 3 had no such changes. In terms of performance, group 2 was significantly better than group 3 after the five days. And although group 1 initially outperformed group 2, group 2 was able to perform at the same level as group 1 with just two hours additional practice.

This study demonstrates the power of visualisation for levelling up your performance and gaining that extra edge.

Transform your everyday

Transform your everyday – emotions, reactions, relationships… everything. As explained in ‘Train your Brain’ above, your mind is malleable.

This can be used to understand your emotions, manage your reactions and create amazing relationships – romantic or otherwise.

Create your flow

Create your flow and unlock your creativity. Visualisation is sometimes referred to as creative imagery for a reason. As we develop of ability to immerse ourselves within a visualisation, we become more skilled in creativity and self-reflective contemplation.

At VIVE, we teach visualisation; an active mental practice that empowers people to train and rewire their brain to transform their life.

From our own experience and speaking with others, we noticed that there is a gap between where people are and where they want to be in their lives. From wanting to take control of physical, mental and emotional health- to improving performance and confidence – to managing relationships better- or if someone is feeling great and wants to maintain that – we are here to close the gap.

Whilst the technique of visualisation has been around for decades, it’s benefits have only been enjoyed by elite athletes and CEOs. Now, VIVE is the company that is making this scientifically backed winning strategy accessible to everyone, helping individuals and businesses improve their wellbeing and performance.

Through our live events and future app, we provide a unique combination of breathwork, meditation and visualisation that has the power to rewire the neurons in the brain empowering people to operate at their full potential.

Our journey started in September 2020 when Maya, who had 8 years experience in meditating, teamed up with Ben and Molly with the vision to empower young adults through meditation.

We spent our final year at university researching and developing VIVE for our dissertation. Now we’re taking it to the masses.

Update: Molly has since left the team to take up an exciting role as a Bookings & Event Coordinator at an elite music events company.
